Uh, it’s been a while. I’ve obviously been in the “Not to Blog” stage. And, things keep piling up and piling up and it just seems like too much to catch up on. I’ve been tempted to do the short and sweet version of what we’ve been up to. But, that doesn’t seem fair to my family history. And, I’m pretty sure everyone waits breathlessly to see what the Gee Six is up to, so I wouldn’t want to deprive anyone of the joy of long, rambling, semi-interesting posts.
Let’s do it this way. Here’s the short version of our last four months, and then I’ll do the other posts separately. Then, if you only want the abbreviated version, you can read this one and skip the others! (Or – let’s be honest – if I don’t actually blog everything, at least there is some sort of record!) So, in the last four months . . .
Adam played baseball.
The kids hunted (and ate) candy.
Rob got his Arrow of Light.
Kelsey had a dance performance.
We went camping.
School ended and the kids got awards.
Summer started, and we went swimming . . . a lot.
We did other summer-y things.
We went to Cub Scout Day Camp.
And to the beach!
We went to Six Flags.
And Robbie crossed over from Cub Scouts to Boy Scouts.
Now, wasn’t that fun! I’ll attempt to get the full posts up so that they can be immortalized in the Gee Family History. Yeah, I wouldn’t hold my breath on that one!
