Okay, so I just talked to Jeff and basically he harassed me enough that I now feel guilty that I have never posted anything and I don’t leave a comment on anyone elses messages. (Is elses a word?) Jeff and I were talking and I told him I didn’t know what I was supposed to write. I mean, does anyone really care how many corndogs I ate this week or how many times I said “If you do not listen to me, I am calling Santa and HE IS NOT COMING”? I read Jennie’s blog, and it’s totally cool. Do you know how I know it’s cool? I know it’s cool because I can’t understand half of what she writes. I am so old and so uncool! I’m tempted to write all sorts of jibberish so I too can be cool. For example: THESE MASHED POTATOES ARE SO CREAMY!!!!!Chronic -WHAT – cles of NARNIA!!! (Jon will get that one!)SPAM MAKES GOOD MEATLOAF.YOU TOO!!!But I still don’t think that makes me cool. Now I am old, and also pathetic because I’m trying to be young and cool! Anyway, I don’t have much important to say. I haven’t saved any little old ladies in crosswalks, and I haven’t written any bestselling books. Heck, I’m pretty sure we’ve knocked over a few little old ladies with the three kid train I drag along, and I don’t even have time to read a bestselling book, even one written for kids! But, I feel like I should write something serious and something of importance, so here it is:I am so thankful for family. And I’m not just saying that cause Mom and Dad (well mostly Mom, we have to be honest! Love you Dad!) watched my kids for the last two and a half days so Jon and I could go away and pretend we were normal people. I’m grateful that we love each other and that we make each other crazy and that Jennie still tells me I’m cool even though I am clearly not! I love you guys! Bye!
Well, it’s the end of the day of Christmas 2005. Jeff has put tons of work into getting this thing started and even gave me a web subscription service that will create a website for us. It’s this cool company called Ffej Web Services…or something like that. At first, I really thought this was some guy from India or something…until I read that I could e-mail Jeff at any time for assistance on anything. Pretty dang clever!!! Good work Jeff!!! You had both Aub and I fooled for a while. I just thought this was a really generous guy who would let us call 24/7 with any problems. This was our 7th Christmas together this year. Pretty weird that time has gone by so fast for us. Very strange! It seems like yesterday that we were at that apartment with that tiny little tree. I was so clueless on what to get a woman for Christmas gifts. I seriously got her an Obi-Wan Kenobi action figure! I think I’ve gotten more of a clue now…you’ll have to ask Aubrey about that one. Anyways, it’s been seven great Christmas’ now. It’s all good! Well, I wanted to at least get a post in on this. I’ve got to get with Jeff soon and figure out the website thing. I’ve great hopes to actually do it. It’ll never be as good as Jeff though. He’s a Master Web-dude!!!Enjoy!Life is good![photopress:100_4140.JPG,full,centered]
Merry Christmas Jon. I hope you enjoy your present this year!!
For Christmas this year I decided to go all out and purchase you a one-year fully supported premium subscription from a Web Hosting Provider, Ffej’s Web Solutions. This basically means that in addition to setting up a website for you, you also have 24-7 support and free additional website set-up. I talked extensively with Ffej, the web designer, about your needs and what might work best for you. We came to the conclusion that a family blog would be the best for several reasons. You can update it from any browser at any time. You don’t need any special software, or skills. You don’t have to resize photo’s before you put it online. It is pretty much type, insert picture, publish. He has set up this family site (with a little help from me) in hopes of making this as easy as possible for you! I have e-mailed you some additional documentation from Ffej about the website, how it works and all that jazz. Let me know if you have any questions about it. I love ya bro! Have a very Christmas!!Jeff
